Montreal s in town and that means Dan Boyle becomes even more popular as far as pre game interviews because he can handle the questions in both French and English   He credits his French Canadian mother for that even though he grew up in Ottawa just across the river from Quebec Also a lot of microphones in front of Jay Leach this morning as he played seven games for Les Habitants before being picked up on waivers by the Sharks earlier this season And same can be said for Torrey Mitchell who grew up in Montreal and had a few tales to share about growing up as a Canadiens fan But let s get back to doings on the ice   A

ifferent look to the lines this morning so why don t I just spell things out and we can go from there Heatley Thornton Setoguchi Malhotra Marleau Pavelski Clowe Nichol McGinn Staubitz Mitchell Ortmeyer Moving Setoguchi up to the top line isn t a surprise in part because that s where he was prior to the Olympic break and that s where he was at the end of that 4 3 loss to New Jersey when he scored twice to make things close But Todd McLellan held off on calling that a reward for Setoguchi saying he needs to see strong performances strung together in a few games before he d go that far Moving Malhotra to the second line and Clowe to the third also is a change from last game but back to where things were last month at one point And those changes on the third and fourth line McLellan explained were also designed to get Jamie McGinn positioned where the Sharks can take better advantage of his speed and tenacity Anyway we all know these are all fluid depending on how the game goes It ll be Evgeni Nabokov back in nets and though you can t really tell from the morning skate there s no reason to think the defense pairings won t be Boyle Wallin Murray Blake and Huskins Leach Mitchell said he usually went to a couple games a year at the Montreal Forum growing up and remembered one time when his family filled the four seats between the two benches right on the ice He was maybe 10 at the time and got chastised by a security guard for reaching up to give Patrick Roy a pat on the back as he skated onto the ice at one point Mitchell also recalled being there for a morning skate when Saku Koivu was injured and sitting in the stands Nervously he approached Koivu and came away with an autograph
