If you haven’t read by now, there were articles in the mainstream media outlets this weekend that clearly exhibit how detached our ruling family in Harrisburg had become from the Working folks. On Sat the Headlines blared with revelations that members of the Pennsylvania National safety and militia were not receiving their stipends because of the budget deadlock. Depending on whose figures you read, it is somewhere around 500 military personnel who are not getting money they deserve. Then Yesterday came the turkey that the six veterans care centers in Pennsylvania have stopped receiving pa
ients, because vendors and faculty are not getting paid. Yet your State Legislators are still collecting their one hundred and fifty eight dollar per diem. Are you getting mad yet? I give a petition for the two Congressional representatives in my area, Congressman Charlie Dent and Jim Gerlach. Is there anything you two can do to help looking out for our Military people? Just wondering. How many of you out there still think your legislator is not start of the trouble? I give praise to State Senator Lisa Baker for bringing the veterans issues to a forefront, but I desire to see the budget dealt with. Right now, I don’t think it will happen.
