Usually it`s the daughter who gets all hyped up over wedding arrangements right?! Welp, not for Katy Perry and Russell Brand!

Right now, Katy`s firsr priority is planning her next record. “Well, I get to project my [new album, due this summer] first and so I`m going to get to my wedding,” the singer, 25, tellsMTV News. “But I`m really mad about that, too.

So it seems her fiance Russell is the one taking matters into his own hands! Katy even claims the guy has become “a total bridezilla!”

“He`s like a freak, man. You should see âeuro;rdquo; he`s always, like, buying bride magazines. Every sentence we go out for breakfast he`s like, `Can we simply arrest and get a bride magazine?`”

So while Russell is all gaga over the big ceremony, Katy is telling reporters that they may still consider eloping! “We only wish it to signify something,” she said when asked about the kind of ceremony she wants. “It doesn`t count if it`s only me and him or if it`s a big, fat ordeal.”

Looks like it`s about to be a fat ordeal!

At the moment though, over any extravagant arrangements, Katy says she just enjoys being engaged. And when asked how it`s been going so far, she exclaimed, “Fabulous! Better than I would imagine engagements typically do!”
