“American Idol” is keen to its last two, with Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen fans on edge.
They begin with Ben Stiller pretending he has to fill in for Ryan Seacrest, spoofing the oh-so-serious way the show takes itself by saying the “Idol” desk is on its way to the Smithsonian.
A lot of other stars from some soon-to-be-released B-movie come out and lead in the informercial; it’s not actually that funny, the audience is obviously impatient to get on with the show.
Yup, our favorite show – everything’s for sale, from the opening to the end and everything in between!
More than 88 million votes were cast, says Ryan; with just over 1 million votes separating the top two. Wonder how many of those came from Staciegirlie. 
Jordin Sparks, Katy Perry – great lineup of guest stars. The commercial for Kia or whatever features animated versions of Adam, Danny and Kris along with the live-action, I’ve forgotten about it already.
