The ‘Lost’ fifth season finale was called ‘The Incident’ (read a detailed review at TV Squad) but there are so many mind-blowing events that could refer to, including:• The explosion of Jughead the bomb• The brutal smackdown between Jack and Sawyer (who, let’s be honest, have wanted to savor each other around forever)• Juliet’s heartbreaking tumble into the Swan• The shocking revelation of who John Locke is (and isn’t)• The pan up on what the rest of the four-toed statue looks like• What lies in the shadow of the statue? “Ille qui nos omnes servabit” = ‘He who will save us’• Ben’s simm
ring rage at and cutting of Jacob• Or, of course, that we last met Jacob and witnessed how he had played a function in apiece of the ‘Lost’-ies trips to the island, only to see him then snuffed out and burnt up by Locke and Ben
